Amy Shea is an essayist with a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow, where she has written a creative nonfiction book titled, Not All Deaths are Created Equal. Her work has appeared in the Portland Review, The Massachusetts Review, Spry Literary Journal, Fat City Review, From Glasgow to Saturn, & the Journal of Sociology of Health & Illness. She is the Writing Program Coordinator for Mount Tamalpais College, a community college for the incarcerated people of San Quentin.
