
Amy Shea is an essayist with a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow, where she wrote the narrative nonfiction manuscript, Too Poor to Die. Her work has appeared in Pangyrus, The Missouri Review, the Portland Review, The Massachusetts Review, Spry Literary Journal, Fat City Review, From Glasgow to Saturn, & the Journal of Sociology of Health & Illness. She is the Writing Program Director for Mount Tamalpais College, a community college for the incarcerated people of San Quentin.
